For the second year as a foundation, we are excited to announce our annual Holiday Fundraiser is open for donations! We will provide items such as coats, boots, groceries, toys, & other essentials for families in need.
This fundraiser is so important to us and was inspired by an act of kindness that started 46 years ago. Irene’s daughter, Diane, was working as a teacher at Chicago Public Schools, when one of her students passed away from cancer right before Christmas. Irene gathered her family’s support and together they provided food and presents for the family in need. Every year since then, Irene’s family, (her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren) have supported families in need. Last year with your generous support, we gifted essential items and holiday cheer to multiple families at the Irene C Hernandez Middle School.
This year we invite you to join our mission to share love, compassion, and hope. With your help, we will reach more families and make a bigger impact.
